Hi all. Does anyone know where I could pick up some cheap anime laserdiscs? I recently got a player after getting a milkcrate of 50+ Star Trek laserdiscs for a steal at Goodwill. I picked up a couple for cheap on eBay, but was wondering if there are any other good sources for them? Thanks in advance!

The last time I looked, AnimEigo still had a few LDs in stock. Hunt around their website <http://www.animeigo.com> and you might get lucky.

If you don't mind not having an subs (and usually no dub except for some Pioneer releases), laserdiscs are insanely cheap and easy to find in Japan. Plus there's lots of stuff that doesn't yet have a DVD release over here, or was never released here. Try animejungle.com and auctions.yahoo.co.jp (you might need to go through a bidding service or a friend for the latter as most sellers don't ship outside of Japan) if you can't make it over there yourself.
I'd recommend getting the two Tenchi Muyo TV series (for the extras and because of the compression issues with the DVD releases) and Nadesico (to see the series without overlays and with re-animated footage).
