Azumanga Daioh computer game!?

The Azumanga Daioh Advance computer game will be released for the Gameboy Advance on 25 April 2003, price 5,800 yen. The game system takes the form of a 'card battle'. In the meantime, a trial version of the game for Windows PCs can be downloaded from this page - http://www.starchild.co.jp/special/azuma/ azumanga1.html (approximately 780Kb). Actually, my mind enters a strange Osaka-zone simply trying to grasp an 'Azumanga Daioh Card Battle', really I cannot imagine it.

Looks like points are scored by linking 3 or more stars in a row, but how do you move them or change the order of them?

It's cute... not as much fun as the Tenshindo game I d/l'ed a couple of years ago where your female opponent stripped when she lost, but... O_~

The Z and X keys correspond to the GBA buttons; you can only manipulate the cards by swapping adjacent cards.

Overall a decent puzzle-style game, although it isn't exactly that closely 'connected' to Azumanga as such.

Would become interesting if each character had their own 'special ability' (e.g. add extra stars, swap two of opponent's cards, exchange one card for a random other card, exchange whole hand [which sounds distinctly Osakaish] etc).
