Debuting March 31st.

According to CN's schedulebot (http://schedule.cartoonnetwork.com/servlet/ ScheduleServlet?action=vie...) Trigun will be premiering on March 31st, 2003.

the english dub of EVA hurts my ears. i haven't seen a lot of anime and even less anime thar are dubbed, but EVA english cast is the worst one i have heard.

Indeed. The dub actor who voice Shinji has has even said in an interview that he toned down the grief in Shinji's voice, simply because he thought the Japanese rendition was too gloomy for him. I mean, come on...

Hmmm...matter of taste I guess. For me, the worst English dub was 'Love Hina'. I hated Kitsune's voice and I grew up in the south. I forced myself to listen to all 24 episodes in English just to see if it would grow on me. It didn't.

The Love Hina dub is an unqualified disaster. If nothing else, though, it hopefully served as an example why the original Japanese production company should NEVER be allowed to oversee the localisation of an English dub.

As for EVA.

I thought Dubbing on EVA is pretty good to me.

As for Love Hina.

I heard dub clips of the show on a website & It got me laughing off my rear end.

Barbara Goodson's Kitsune is a riot.

Wendee Lee (Who Directed the LH Dub BTW) as Kaolla Su sounded soo hyper & cute.

Keitaro (David Umansky) sounded nerdy & funny.

Naru (Dorothy Melendrez) reminds me of Akane from Ranma 1/2. Sends both Fellows into orbit!! (Hehe) Voice fits the character.

Ellen Arden (Shinobu) Sounded caring & treats Keitaro like a big brother she never had.

Mona Marshall (Motoko) is tough as Nails.

Jean Howard (Mitsumi) sounds sweet.

I have no problems with the dubbing. (Cant Blame Wendee Or Production IG for it)

At four/week? That's only 16...

There were thirteen episodes of _Reign_.

They need to dub them. They didn't plan on doing a four/week schedule when they started. OTOH, that was planned for _Reign_, and CB was already dubbed. So while those two shows can run uninterrupted, they need time to do more dubbing for IY, which was supposed to only be once/week. Add to that that for a while they were showing two ep on Saturdays, and you can see they got through it much faster than expected.

Apparently it's still pulling in the ratings. Despite having been run umpteen million times people are still tuning in and it's still selling DVDs.
