Excel Saga...One more to go

I watched the first half of the new Excel Saga DVD last night. It seemed mostly filler, like the last DVD, and not as good as the first two. I hope the last DVD really picks up, as I'm told it does...

That's the problem with DVD 5: 75% of the episodes on the DVD focus on supporting characters rather than the misadventures of Excel and Hyatt. As for DVD 6, things definitely pick up, as the series finally has some sort of story (besides the Pedro sub-plot). Then, there's episode 26.

I suppose if you consider that a 'problem'...I quite liked DVD 5, possibly because I like the supporting characters just as much, overall, as I like the Big Three.
