I received KareKano volume 3 from Right Stuf on saturday, and I'm noticing that this series has a strong emphasis on family values.

Fruits Basket does as well, and I'll Be An Angel.

And I think a case could be made for Daa Daa Daa as having a family values theme.

Magical Project S; Z-Mind; 7 of Seven; Legend of Pretear; Kotobuki Ran.

I guess there are quite a few. For some reason, it seemed unusual at the time.

Kodomo no Omocha is another one with strong family value theme. Though it does cover a much wider range of theme than a show that's aimed at a younger audience.

Howdy!

Actually, almost ANYTHING can be used to teach family values.

Angelic Layer fansubs are being used by a couple of my friends to teach the importance of friends, the importance of family, and what NOT to do <grins>. And, sad as it is, OMG teaches more about Christian living than most so-called Christian shows (even though THEIR Lord is named 'Wotan' or 'Odin', not YAHWEH ... go figure.)

Of course, there ARE some that would be best used as 'Children, don't do this' examples ... <grins>
