I just noticed that the final episode for 'Full Moon wo Sagashite' was just fansubbed. Did the show turn out to be any good? I gave up on it before the 10th episode, due to some extremely dodgy writing early on.
That's an impressive amount of work for a fansubbing group to do in such a short time - 52 episodes in 52 weeks from a.f.k. For their next project, they'll be recovering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

I lost interest early on, the scene where she met the manager woman (maybe episode 2 or 3). That scene was just so messy and stupid, I couldn't watch it anymore. I did try it again, but that scene was like fingernails on a chalkboard to the logic part of my brain, and I just didn't need the suffering.

My perspective is if you liked it from the start then you will probably enjoy the whole series. If you didnt like it from the start then most likely you never will and nothing that happens later on in the show will change your mind. I personally liked the show even though I will admit that some of the episodes in the middle were pretty sketchy and the show probably would have been better served if it were only 26 episodes. The best part of the series really doesnt occur until after the christmas episode (ep 36 I

Made it through the swimsuit episode (ep 17, I think). When you reach the point where you actually wish the lead character would go ahead and DIE already... you'ver pretty much lost the series. 13 episodes would have been plenty for this thing.
BTW, did she finally die at the end, or did they do the big cop out number?

Did she ever re-unite with Eichi-kun?

I didn't watch every episode, but she confesses to Takuto in episode 50, so Eichi-kun is SOL.

Does Mitsuki abandon her older persona and return to being a little girl full-time, does she abandon her little-girl self to become a teenager full time, or does she continue a dual identity? And if she remains a little girl, what does it mean when she confesses her love to Takuto?
(I've never seen the ending of a non-monster-of-the-day magical girl show, so I don't know whether it is conventional for her to abandon her second identity.)

Mitsuki returns to being a little girl full time; what it means to their love is left hanging: Takuto has no memories of his previous life or his time as a shinigami, but Mitsuki runs into him on a sidewalk (led there by Meroko)
