JAPAN (Sengoku Jidai Era) Sources report that the youkai Sesshoumaru of 'Inuyasha' fame has been spotted secretly having dinner with the demon Mara from 'Oh My Goddess' outside of a small temple in an undisclosed part of northern Japan. Sesshoumaru spokesman Jakken categorically denied the implication that his master was currently seeing anybody.

'Sesshoumaru-sama has no time for pointless activities!' screeched the annoyed imp. 'Sesshoumaru-sama is on a mission to kill Naraku and that is his only goal. As such, Sesshoumaru-sama will only engage in activities that further his agenda. Besides, why would Sesshoumaru-sama data a demon from the time of that miko-wannabe Kagome?'

When pressed further on the issue, Jaken replied, 'Look. I've already told you that Sesshoumaru-sama is busy. Mara is from another series and I'm sure she's busy as well. Why don't you go bother her?'

Jakken then used his staff to blow fire at the reporters burning several to a crisp before leaving.

Attempts to contact Mara in the modern world failed leading many to believe that in fact she was in the Sengoku Jidai Era.

Goddess 2nd Class Urd was found to see if she had any comments.

'It is funny you should ask', the bronze goddess stated. 'We'd not seen Mara in some time and while Belldandy felt that her Keiichi was out of danger, I knew better. I got Skuld to build a Mara tracking device and I hunted her down to spy on her. To my surprise, Mara was skulking around the Higurashi Kagome shrine which is no where near us.'

Urd continued by stating that she saw Mara disappear into a well on the shrine grounds.

'I was in my chibi form with Gan-chan up in the rafters. The well started glowing with power and this beautiful man with long white hair and a missing left arm appears. He didn't say anything but just took her and jumped into the well where they both disappeared.'

When asked if she'd seen knew the man, Urd claimed not to have seen him before.

'I tried to follow them in the well because it looked like things could get interesting. Unfortunately, I could not pass through.'

At present, it appears that the rumors may be true. As to what it may mean for both series, only time will tell.
