Pretty sure it's just those 15... although the manga has a lot that wasn't put into anime form. If you can track down copies, in Japanese or Chinese, there are translations here: http://users2.ev1.net/~cyberian/grav/std/trans.htm . Maybe you can find scanslations online, I've looked but haven't found any yet. All of the Bad Luck songs are done by Kotani Kinya, you can buy the soundtrack, or download 'em. Search for both Gravitation and Kotani Kinya.

I've found a few, but it was just scattered bits and pieces.

Early manga Shuichi was oogly.

Well, if you wanna be anal, Mad Soldiers, Kinya's band, was behind the music. And the three Nittle Grasper songs weren't by them. Iceman did Shining Collection and K.ITO + D.K. (That would be Kenichi Ito and Daichi Kuroda) did Sleepless Beauty. Yamaguchi Kappei, Ryuichi's actual seiyuu, did

Heh. Prolly the mangaka getting into their 'mode' of deciding of how chara will finally look. See Oh My Godess manga for another good example.

Something you generally don't want to mention in a Gravitation thread... *flee*

Mad Soldiers, Kinya's band, was behind the

Any particular reason they sing that one song in the TV show concerts SO

*taps chin* Funny. I'd think 'anal' in a Gravitation thread WOULD be something you'd wanna mention.

Heh. Actually, while I tend to avoid most overtly yaoi series (tho it may be a lot of them are just poorly written & get the brunt of it) I really liked how Gravitation even used some of the 'cliches' of the genre in neat ways, like Shuichi visually being 'uke' but really being the emotional motivator and everything (and embarrasing the heck out of Yuki ^^. Tho from what I've seen in a lot of romantic series, usually the POV is from the quiet/submissive character, probably cause they're more cuddly/emotional.

Say, IS Shuichi noticably short to other characters cause it makes him look 'cute', or is he just short cause he's Japanese? I know big blondie Yuki's appearance was addressed in an episode we find out he's of mixed ancestry.

Speaking of which (well not THAT exactly ;;>_> is Gravitation Remix a continuation of the original doujinshi?

Well I have to say, this is the 1st yaoi anime I've ever seen and I just fell in love with it. I don't think of Shuichi as a male, only if it's pointed out. I stumbled across Gravitation when my sister sent me a anime music video that had Inu Yasha in it, and at the time I thought Shuichi was a girl. But as I found out more about it, which it's hard cuz it's not that easy to find it on the net, I found out that Shuichi was a guy. I think it is very cute and cool. It's my new anime addiction! I just wish they had made more then the 13 episodes and 2 OVAs. I would really like to find some stuff for this anime, like keychains, posters, figures, anything really, if anyone knows where I can find some please let me know, all I can seem to find is the sound stories and soundtracks and dvds....I would love to have some figures of Shuichi or Yuki, or even both....please anyone with info tell me.

Thanks,

I dunno. I respect Shu's 'cuddly' charcterization, in that he's sort of emotional and sometimes childish, but not _feminized_ in any particular way design-wise, either for reason of sterotype or of mangaka fetish. His softness is really only apparent because Yuki is such a tall, moody guy next to him.

I stumbled across Gravitation when my sister sent me a anime

Creepily I'm too far into chara design to EVER assume gender unless it's explicitly stated, and always assume the alternative if its in question. With girls too. (Mmm, androgynous girls. ~_~)

Actually, Shuuichi's really rather masculine at times. He's definitely dominated by Yuki quite a lot, and next to Yuki he looks pretty soft... but at least compared to what most 'anime girls' are like, he's not girly. Emotional, yes, but not girly.

Also, one thing I -really- admire about Shuuichi is that he actually comes the hell out and says 'I'm gay.' He's the -only- yaoi anime/manga character I've ever seen who does that flat-out. I've heard 'I like guys' once in a while or 'I like guys and girls,' but Shuuichi's the only person I've seen to just say 'I'm gay.' I really admire that in him.
