Kikyo in Inuyasha

I'm a little confused about Kikyo. Her body was brought back by that old witch lady, and then her and Kagome's bodies sort of fought for control of the one spirit. Kagome got it, but Kikyo didn't die, and the next time we see her, she's stealing spirits of village girls to stay in this world. And now she's not stealing them anymore. So how's she still up and walking?

She still needs the spirits. Maybe she has enough, or she does the stealing 'off camera'. Where are you up to in the series?

As you see in later episodes, Kikyo's soul stealers are *always* on the prowl, but now she only goes after the souls released due to death. Could that be why she's working at a temple caring for injured soldiers?

Episode 46.

It doesn't say that she's not stealing them anymore, true. But it was a major point to stop her soul stealing. So if she's still doing it, Inuyasha and the others must not care as much about stopping her.

If they stop her, she'd die. I don't think Inuyasha wants to do that.

She says they're the spirits of the recently deceased. So, no-one's getting killed (anymore) . . .
