Miyazaki : More redheads!!!!!! also there would have been a strong subtext of mankind creating robotic monsters (boomers) which were raping the earth. - or it would have been set in the 1800's

Shirow: uber-babe designs with toned svelte Knight Sabers (the lesbian scene would be cut out of the Dark Horse english Translation) It would talk more about humanities integration with machines... - possibly landmate style hardsuits. and of course Sylia would be a boomer.

Konnichiwa!

Satoshi Urushihara (PLastic Litle, Lemnear, Chirality): Boomers would be the result of a failed biomechanical research or humans 'infested' by a nano-technological parasite that, in a Terminator kind of story wants to eradicate the human race for considering it obsolete or to protect the Earth. There would be plenty of scenes where the Knights would be on their 'eve-clothings' to allow the artist to his obsession of drawing detailed breasts. There will surelly be some sort of lesbian relation ship either inplicit (innuendo) or explicit, that would slowly develop. Nene would be jealous of Priss' bigger breast. Scylia's father would have been killed by a Genom commanding executive when he was placing the still young Scylia into an escape pod to save her from a certain death - this could happen on a space station, following events on 'Red Eyes' - and Scylia would grow to become leader of the Sabers guided by unkown forces. And Mackie will have SERIOUS nose-bleeds whenever he sees the Sabers naked. = )

Now, forgive the plug but I wanted to share a crazy story I has had in mind that prety much fits this thread:

Its a crossover thing involving BGC, Gall Force and Genesis Climber MOSPEADA (Robotech New generation in the USA). Invits and Paranoids would be related (they practically are since the mecha is crab-like and the living form can liquify). Years ago life on Earth was created by a forced fusion between Solonoids and Paranoids. Years into the future a new breed of Paranoids would show up on Earth to complete the mission started by their ancestors. Paranoids would ally with Genom executives and aid in the creation of the Boomers which would eventually tunr against all humans and aid creating a new breed of Paranoids. For this purpose Earth would be turn into a green house to experiment on diferent types of researches involving genetic manipulation and bio-mechanics. Then several rescue forces would be sent from Earth Colonies on Mars to save the planet and only a few from the third wave would made it to Earth.

The reason for creating this ambitious crossover relies on several factors: first: they are all prodcuts of Artmic (and were all featured on the Super Deformed 'Scramble Wars' OVA) second: The three series have similarities (the Paranoid and Inbit mecha is so similar I always say to myself: 'They already left the door open' and on top of that the dates allows this type of cross over (Bubblegum Crisis - 2032; Genesis Climber MOSPEADA - 2050; Gall Force Earth Chapters - 2085). third: cannot help myself to try and make something like Robotech but without doing mayor alterations. Of course this will still be an alternate universe thing, but still they all nicely fit on the story.

My priorities on this days may prevent me from completing the project but if I ever go ahead, I'll let you know.

Bye

Speaking of Shirow, what about Mamoru Oshii, director of the (first) Ghost in the Shell movie? I'm thinking it would be alot like the 2040 episodes where they are communicating telepathically, except that the colors would be alot darker, and there would be at least one obligitory scene where they would have to 'jack in' to the suits... Not to mention at least one 'angel wings' scene, with plenty of religious references...

Well, those pics are pretty old, I'd want to draw new ones if I were to show them around. In truth, it's because I was playing Princess Maker a while back, and think that it would be nice if they brought out the next one for Japan and North America, though I doubt that it would happen.

tell me about it. and hey! I liked those pics.... and they causght both the fell for BGC and PM (man, just thought of a horrible ending though....married and a GENOM exc... heh) I'd be happy with an english ver of Rei-maker although yes, PM would be nice if they released a ver in the U.S./Can. (becides the one I've played/ put back on my HD two months ago which is the one you are talking about.) currently I'm torn between playing that, Shogun total War and Homeworkd right now (I know, nothing like each other) I've been playing the open beta of Tale of the Desert a cool non-combat co-operative online game when I have had the chance... that's neat as well.

I was playing a little of America's Army Online but had to do it on my roomies machine as I sadly don't have the graphics card for it (and got the Eva box set at Christmas instead) the only problem with it is it reminds me a little of Ender's Game with remote telemetry boomers..

Well, for the time, they were good enough, but now I'm dis-satissfied with them.

Or at least if someone would leak a version of PM2 that has all the text files that are missing from the beta currently floating around. Nothing more frustrating than 'Unable to find file EETN05.txt!'.

I know that an Asian company has the rights to distribute Princess Maker outside of Japan, but that mainly means Korean and Chinese versions. It probably means that we will never see a Princess Maker version hit our shores in English.

Naoko Takeuchi's Bubblegum Crisis Sylia Stingray is cute, perky schoolgirl who unbeknownst to anyone is actually the pretty hardsuited soldier for love and justice, Saber Moon! With her friends Nene (Saber Mercury), Priss (Saber Mars), Linna (Saber Jupiter), and Reika (Saber Venus), she fights the battle against the bouma of the GENOM Kingdom, led by Dark King Quincy and his generals Largo, Mason, Madigan and Miriam. (In the North American edition, the homoerotic relationship between Largo and Mason is largely obscured, and Madigan is dubbed with a male voice for no apparent reason.) In this fight they are aided by Hentai Mask (Mackie) and guided by their two Moon-Dogs, Leon and Daley. In later seasons, other Sabers appear: Saber Uranus (Sylvie), Saber Neptune (Anri), Saber Saturn (Lisa Vanette) and the mysterious Saber Pluto.

Chiho Saito/Bepapas' Hardsuited Girl Sylia Upon her arrival at Rosenkreutz Academy, young Sylia Tenjou is caught up in a mysterious cycle of powered armor duels, the goal of which is to possess the mysterious Saber Bride, Nene Himemiya. Opposing her is the Rosenkreutz Academy Student Council: Priss Arisugawa, Largo Kiryuu, Brian J. Saionji, and Daley Kaoru. Further dangers are posed by Daley's sister Linna, and Largo's sister Kate. And above all is the looming presence of The End of the World, Nene's handsome playboy brother Quincy Rosenkreutz. Cryptic commentary is provided every episode by A-ko and S-ko, the Shadowroids. (In the motion picture version, the names and the voice actors remain the same but the characters' personalities are drastically altered, and in the hallucinogenic climax, Sylia turns into a robot which Nene operates using a Radio Shack RC controller. In the DVD commentary track, the director refuses to explain why, because he claims it would reduce the artistic impact of the film.)

Miho Obana's Kodomo no Hardsuit: Nene 'Nene-chan' Kurata is an 11-year-old actress, celebrity and poster child for hyperactivity, as well as an engineering prodigy. Her wealthy mother, Sylia, is an award-winning lingerie designer and eccentric, and sharing their home is Nene's agent and bodyguard, Leon Sagami, known for his dark glasses, huge gun, and little-old-lady style of driving. Trouble raises its ugly head for Nene when the sullen leader of the boys in her class, Largo Hayama, blackmails the teacher (Ms. Madigan) into allowing him to bring dozens of animated human-weight dolls to class with him. This gives him an unstoppable gang with which to impose his will upon the school as a whole. Incensed by the injustice of this, Nene organizes her girlfriends Linna-chan, Priss-chan, Reika-chan, Sylvie-chan and Anri-chan into a fighting force to oppose Hayama. She builds them powered armor that allows them to take on Hayama's dolls in a straight fight. Humorous comments and a Greek chorus is provided by Fargo, the grey bat, who always seems to know what's going on everywhere in the story.

The three series have similarities (the Paranoid and Inbit

Do note that only the initial Inbit invasion occurs in 2050. The actual episodes of the Mospeada series are ca. 2083, with Yellow & Jim representing survivors of a mission ca. 2080.

This may or may not play well into your Gall Force plans.
