Ninja Scroll TV - Episode 1

Well, that was...interesting...

Ninja Scroll TV features all the gory violence of the original movie, only with a bit more plot. Our Hero, Jubei(separated at birth from Bebop's Spike?), happens upon a fight between severan MegaMan rejects who all appear to be after some sort of green stone. After the break, we're introduced to the Priestess of Light, a cloistered girl from a small village who is apparently related to the stone. Enter the MegaMan rejects, with disastrous(and hilarious) results.

I wasn't terribly impressed by the Ninja Scroll movie, and it doesn't look like the TV series is going to change my mind. The character design for the fighting characters is ugly(save for Jubei, who actually looks human), but the animation is decent. Unless the story starts going somewhere exciting, I'll probably drop it after another
