Read some synopsis-es online and seems to be fairly interesting. GONZO's main fray into the world of romance. Art looks good too, as expected from GONZO. Anyone seen it? On a scale of 1-5, what would you give it? Should I bother getting it?

Yeah...was disappointed with Full Metal Panic so this show might be crappy too. Just wondering.

On a scale of 1 - 5 I'd give it a 10. This is an excellent series but it is a heartbreaker. This is one of those shows you put in the same category as Grave of the Fireflies and Now and Then, Here and There. If you're into happy, happy anime then avoid this show like the plague. If, however, you like heart-tugging drama then don't let this one pass you by. I do hope someone announces its acquisition soon.

I might give it a 3 or so. It's better written than FMP, but it basically is about suffering and stuff, with somewhat whiney romance thrown in. I'd add one point if you like more serious or depressing stuff, and minus one point if you don't.

I've been wondering about SaiKano AND Full Metal Panic. I haven't had a very good track record with GONZO. Their shows are so popular, I can't resist taking a look and always come out disappointed. Can anyone explain to me the appeal of 'Gatekeepers' and 'Vandread'?
