Do a Google or AltaVista search for 'Internet Archive' *_and_* 'Wayback Machine' - you'll find a site that keeps older versions of many webpages. (I don't have the URL with me...) You might get lucky and discover they've got it in their database.

I'm not sure what the point of the 'What If' is in this case, but on the whole it's nicely done and has some touches of humour (the 'koala' bit is one of my favourite moments from the first series). The story hangs together well enough for me to suspect that it all might actually lead somewhere.

Well the point of the 'What If' is how Slayers would turn out differently is the players knew some of the events beforehand. The one thing I am not sure on is if Amelia knows all the details involving Rezo - that knowledge will change things even more than they have already. The dark aspect to this story is in the alternate past Lina was shown in Next has Amelia present when Lina uses the Giga Slave; end result one fried world.

If the story gets far enough along what is Amelia going to do when she meets her 3 year younger self. Also much of Next goes out the window if future Amelia is still running around. Try really goes for a loop if the story last -that- long (unlikely)

I agree the story right now seem to be like a filler episode - wandering around but not really doing all that much.
