Does anyone have a figure for the length of the Argo/Yamato? I make the original Japanese battleship to be 840 ft so the 4 1/4' keychain *should* be close to 1/2500 or 1/2400. Does anyone know of a better/more detailed piece?

My Soul of Popynika Yamato's plaque says it's 265.8 meters long, which sounds pretty close to 840 feet.

The real Yamato was 862 ft. 10 in. long. 265.8 m is 872 ft. That sounds about right

Such accuracy. These lengths are nominal; things made of steel change size with temperature.

A fabulous item in the Museum of Matsumoto Leiji series by Mimuko, this is a fantastic die-cast metal version of the Yamato, e.g. the Argo from the Star Blazers series. Very detailed and fun to own, it features main guns that move, wings that come out for in-atmosphere flight, and a fighter bay which holds three 'Cosmo Tigers' (Japanese title: Cosmo Zero). Comes with a fabulous base, too. Features all detailing including the Wave Motion Gun, the cool bridge and bridge radar, the anti-aircraft guns, and the excellent rear Wave Motion Engine. This is a very special item that has been very popular in the past, and has unfortunately always sold out with the manufacturer quickly. Our advice to Yamato / Star Blazers fans is to get this great item while it's available. Length of ship is 9 1/2 inches long. This is an extremely wonderful and rare item that's completely out of production. We recommend it!
