I'm confused. This is a 52 episode series being released on 6 DVDs of 4-5 episodes each?

ADV Films website seems to be broken ('jscript error', so does anyone know the story behind their plans for releasing this title?

ADV only originally licensed the first 26 episodes of Gals to see if it would be successful (ADV is not a studio known for its shoujo output until recently). It appears to have been, so I assume they'll pick up the second season, but there's been no official word as yet.
