Diamond Updates (05:15 PM EDT): The folks at Diamond Comics have updated with their newest catalog online, which means there's some early info on upcoming releases. Most are just continuing series releases but a few new things have crept it. Shootfighter Tekken has finally been solicited from CPM. *Viz is releasing Video Girl Ai on two DVDs (3 episodes per disc) for some reason (the previous release through Pioneer was one disc)* and Gundam SEED has finally gotten solicited. There's the regular version for $29.99 with five episodes on the discs plus a limited edition release for $59.99. No information on the limited edition release has been given yet however.
If the plans for the VGAi re-release include redoing the subs to be more faithful to the original Japanese script (I highly doubt they'll redo the really screwed-up dub, since that would cost a lot of money, but wouldn't it be nice if they did?) and canning the hardsubs, it will mean the end of my boycott of Viz Video. I will be E-mailing them to ask about this; if you care about this, I suggest that you E-mail them to ask as well. The more people who express their feelings about it, the better the chances that things will be fixed here, and the better the chances of them never repeating those mistakes again.

THEY didn't (unless you want to bring up grumbles about the original anime dropping Nimai out of the story)
