Whats the worst anime that you have seen.

I was just wondering what is the worst anime that you have seen, if its a tie between two or three then put them anyway. Not the anime that you ignore because there is something else you want to watch. This the type of anime that would make you gouge out your eyes and burn them and the anime in a fire started by the a coal that you stole from hell. Finally you would cast the ashes in the four winds and the name of the anime would never be spoken again, but if it was spoken, the person would suffer burns on their tongue.

I could answer this question, but I would prefer that such anime be forgotten, and discussing them is contrary to that objective.

I've only seen anime that's made it to US television stations or theaters. From what I've seen of that the worst TV shows are:

Pilot Canidate and G-Gundam (sorry!) and Street Fighter 2/alpha and Armada are all pretty cheesy. Of course, they all pale to the tastelessness of Rapeman. People,,RM makes Odin seem like Nadia and makes PC look like Bubblegum Crisis.

Chris Mattern Scary Beyond All Reason

There are three anime I tend to regard as spectacularly bad... 1. Golgo 13 'The Professional'; cheesiest 3D effects ever seen on film! 2. Sin; lousy plot, blatantly obvious CGI. 3. X: The Movie; incomprehensible. A bunch of random strangers line up one-on-one and beat each other up.

Golgo 13 probably beats out the other two I think. Though Sin gives it a close run; Sin is more consistently bad, but omits the jaw-droppingly pathetic 3D sequence. X: The Movie is very pretty but lacks other redeeming features.

Odin doesn't merit a mention. It's fairly dull in spots, but no more so than the Lodoss War TV series. (Still trying to convince myself to watch the last DVD of that.) I have trouble staying awake though Odin, but other anime (including some quite good ones) have been known to do that.

People, find an VHS copy of this old CPM title (it has the U.S. Manga Corps label) at your anime rental shop, then tell me that you still think Odin/Arion/Ojousama Sosamo (Deb. Detective Corps)/<insert Manga/Screamline title here> is the worst. There's a reason why the LD for this thing was being sold for $5 back in the early-mid 90s, when LDs were still selling well.
