Hadn't seen anyone else post this (at least according to Google) so I decided I'd be the first. :-P

This isn't the first time anime has been on the cover (Pokemon was on the cover in 1999 and I ran across a post from 1997 indicating that Sailor Moon made the cover of the Canadian edition), but it's a sign that kids anime at least is becoming more accepted by the mainstream here in North America.
